Google Chrome PDF Problems

In a recent update, Google Chrome started using it's own built-in PDF viewer, causing problems on some websites. To remedy this situation, and re-enable your default PDF viewer, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: View The Plugins Page

Type about:plugins into the address bar.

Step 2: Disable Chrome's PDF Viewer

Near the bottom of the list, look for "Chrome PDF Viewer" and click "Disable".

Step 3: Enable Your Default PDF Viewer

Look for your chosen PDF Viewer (this is usually near the top) and click "Enable". Restart Chrome.

Step 4: Reset Your Zoom Level To 100%

After having updated your PDF viewer, reset the zoom level to 100% again. Click the Spanner in the top right hand corner, and increase the zoom to 100%.
